Mistubishi’s HIstory
Mitsubishi Electric Company, also known as MELCO, is based in Tokyo as a global Japanese manufacturer of electronics and electrical equipment. It has been so since 1921. For more than a decade, the company held the record for the fastest elevator in the world in the 70-story Yokohama Landmark Tower (1993 to 2005.)
In 2005, the business purchased Nihon Kintetsu, a Japanese household appliance maker. In addition, in 2015, the firm purchased DeLclima, an Italian company that designs and manufactures HVAC and HPAC equipment. They were renamed Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems in 2017.
