Since we started our operations, we have sought to find the optimal balance between the market rate of our services and the rates our customers are willing to pay to ensure that our services remain affordable. However, this has increasingly created inconsistent prices paid by our customers and sometimes indirectly impacted the way we intend our services to be perceived.
Teko has long had an automated process that monitors the rates charged by our partner-technicians, based on factors like job complexity, location, and overhead costs. We continuously monitor to ensure our customers receive fair rates for their service. However, this often left gaps that no longer align with our goals and customer satisfaction.
Standard Repair Pricing: What’s Changing
Starting March 2026, Teko is implementing standard repair pricing for aircons. This means:
- You’ll receive clear repair pricing once the issue with your appliance has been diagnosed. No random prices, no surprise fees!
- Whether you book a technician in Makati, Quezon City, Bacoor, or Cebu, you’ll receive consistent pricing for the same type of repair work.
- Our standard rates guarantee fair compensation for our partner-technicians and an affordable market price for our customers.
- Repair pricing standardization will also mean you’ll still get the same high-quality service from Teko’s skilled technicians.
All our other existing aircon services, such as aircon installation, maintenance/cleaning, diagnosis/check-up, dismantling, etc., have had standardized pricing since the beginning.
We’re already working on bringing standard pricing for major appliance repairs, including washing machines, refrigerators, and water heaters. Our goal is to make pricing clear and consistent across all Teko services—very soon.
